Funding building blocks
Three levers, one concept
The KfW (state development bank) offers more than just a cheap loan. It is the smart combination of subsidised loans, grants and, where sensible, subordinated loans that makes the difference. This interlocking with your bank financing is exactly our strength.
Subsidised loans
Low-interest KfW loans for purchase, new build and refurbishment, often well below market rate.
Grants
Real grants that need not be repaid, for eligible measures.
Subordinated loans
Strategically integrated as subordinated, so your main financing stays lean.
Energy & efficiency
Funding for energy-efficient building and refurbishment. We know the programmes.

FAQ: KfW subsidies
The KfW (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau) is the German state development bank. It offers low-interest subsidised loans and partly grants for purchase, new build and energy refurbishment, as a complement to classic bank financing.
You usually do not apply for KfW subsidised loans directly with the KfW but through your financing bank. This is exactly where we help: we select the right programmes and coordinate their integration.
A subsidised loan (Förderdarlehen) is a low-interest credit you repay. A grant (Zuschuss) is money you may keep once conditions are met. We check what is available for your project.
A subordinated loan (Nachrangdarlehen) is entered in the land register behind the main financing. This lets you integrate funding capital without the lead bank losing its security, clever for the overall concept.
Very often. Even a low-interest subsidised loan noticeably lowers your total costs. With energy measures, additional advantages often apply. We calculate it honestly for you.
Yes. With every financing we check which KfW and regional subsidies fit and integrate them into your overall concept, that is standard for us.
